Clinicians: Mark Washburn

Mark Washburn has been involved in mounted games for almost three decades.

After competing on the USPC international team in 1980, Mark went on to teach at the Radnor Hunt Pony Club from 1983 to 1994 coaching numerous teams to a first place finish at Nationals.

From 1994 to 1996, he was a member of the USMGA World Team. For two of those years, he was the team trainer—finishing second both times. In other USMGA competition his wins include first place in the individual competitions for 1993, ’95 and ’96.

Mark is still an active player/trainer. He has recently returned to Radnor to head their games program and is games coach for the Perkiomen Pony Club. For the USMGA, he is regional representative for Eastern PA and NJ as well as national director and international coordinator.
