The Mounted Games Across America (MGAA) Mark Washburn Games Clinic in Upper Marlboro, MD was held under ideal conditions.... 65 degrees, no wind, and partly cloudy skies. Twenty riders traveling from as far away as NY and CT and ranging from fossil to novice participated in MGAA's games clinic where they learned or re-learned correct games skills from a master. Mark proved to be an excellent clinician and often demonstrated techniques himself by borrowing a rider's pony. He also showed riders how to correct naughty ponies personally. Riders learned many new skills and techniques and have already committed to several more in the coming months. Look for more information coming soon. Thanks to Diane Hickok and Glennwood Farm for the use of the beautiful farm faciliies. Even though your indoor arena and heated observation room looked inviting, we were very happy to have the use of the outdoor on such a lovely day. Thanks also to Mark Washburn for traveling those many hours and bringing his equipment to our clinic. We are looking forward to many more fantastic clinics.
